Race Committee Coordinator 

Job Summary 

The RC Coordinator oversees all organizational aspects of CYC’s Race Committee and regattas.  This person is the primary contact for all RC volunteers as well as the CYC Race Chair.

Major Duties 

1. Coordination of 100+ volunteers.  Includes scheduling based on physical ability and experience, maintaining contact information databases, ordering uniforms, and organizing individual regatta necessities (ie lunch orders, check-in sheets, etc.)
2. Administrates communication amongst fleet leadership, RC and staff including race schedules and special events.
3. Manages competitor registration, including payment reconciliation to the accounting department.
4. Responsible for maintaining the RC portion of the CYC website and the Yacht Racing Calendar.
5. Coordinates with the PROs and juries for all regattas.
6. Works directly with the On the Water Director for all RC events and regattas.
7. Attends all regatta and RC meetings.
8. Works closely with regatta scorers.  Responsible for scoring some events. 

Relationships 

Reports to the On the Water Director.

Works closely with the CYC Race Chair.
