The 2024 Quantum Snipe Nationals were held this past week at Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly, MA! This venue is no stranger to Snipe events as it hosted North Americans in 2021 and Nationals again in 2019. Over 50 boats participated and were given the opportunity to complete the Heinzerling or Wells series. Eight races were run in light and shifty conditions, showcasing tight competition typical of the Snipe class.
Out of the 44 boats in the Heinzerling division, Justin Callahan and Trevor Davis excelled from day one, taking the lead early and showing consistency across the scoreboard for the next four days. Following them were Augie Diaz and Christine DeSilva in second place, and Ernesto Rodriguez and Margaux Bacro-Duverger for third. In the Wells series, Wade Waddell and Miranda Bakos took first place out of eight boats. More results can be found down below and the full scores are posted on the Clubspot linked here.
