Rush Creek Yacht club hosted the 2024 ISCA World Championship from October 13-19, welcoming an impressive field of 100 Sunfish sailors. This included six distinct age divisions which demonstrates the depth and longevity of the Sunfish class. Competitors traveled from more than 13 countries to sail on Lake Ray Hubbard and battle it out for a spot on the podium. The event spanned an entire week, and 12 races were finished at the conclusion.
Connor Blouin from the United States took an early lead with three top-ten finishes. He was able to hold this lead throughout the regatta and posted an impressive four first places. Following his two drops, he held a net difference of 20 points to second place.
