Help Build a Youth Sailing Fleet in Trinidad & Tobago

The Trinidad & Tobago Sailing Association (TTSA) is currently working to expand its youth sailing and athlete development programs, and they’re looking for boats.

TTSA is seeking 15–20 Optis, 18–24 ILCAs, 3 RS Fevas, 3 RS Ventures, and 3 29ers. While individual boats are welcome, complete or partial fleets are especially valuable for making shipping to Trinidad & Tobago more practical.

Does your club have a training fleet that’s due for an upgrade? Are you a program, charter operator, or owner with boats that are no longer in use? Older but structurally sound training boats, along with sails, spars, foils, dollies and other equipment, could help support TTSA’s growing programs.

The Sail1Design Brokerage team will be keeping an eye out for suitable fleets and can help connect interested sellers with TTSA and facilitate the brokerage process. If your club or program is considering selling or replacing a fleet, this could be an opportunity to put those boats to work developing the next generation of sailors in Trinidad & Tobago.
