Sail1Design sailors Annie Sitzmann and Anton Schmid (USA) are the 2026 29er Mixed World Champions after finishing first out of 53 mixed teams at the 2026 29er World Championship in Kiel, Germany.
Competing in an impressive fleet of 276 boats from 35 nations, the duo delivered a strong regatta to finish 8th overall while claiming the Mixed World Championship title.
Hosted at the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Sailing Center from July 2–9, the championship brought together the world’s top youth skiff sailors for six days of racing in a wide range of conditions. Read the International 29er Class’s event recap HERE and find the full results HERE.
