The NFYC is again proud to host The Montana Cup Regatta on beautiful Flathead Lake. PHRF racing for club trophy and individual fleets.
New to Stanford Camps is a Match Race Camp! This camp is an intensive 2 and ½ days of match race knowledge. Come learn from some of the best match racers in the country what it takes to compete. Sailors in this camp will be taught the basics of the prestart, penalty kill and course strategy. Coaches will utilize on the water drills, calk talks and video analysis to help each sailor learn. The camp will be sailed in the school’s 4 Ideal 18’s and teams of 3 are required to register for this camp.
Boats: Ideal 18’s- crew of 3 people
Ages: 14-19
Prerequisites: Should be active racers that have experience sailing with a spinnaker
Max enrollment: 5 Boats or 15 sailors
Cost: 400.00 a sailor
Includes: Boat, sails, housing, food and coaching for all 2 and ½ days
Clinic:This three day clinic focuses on the fundamentals of racing an FJ and a Z420 to compete at the elite level in High School and College Sailing. Classroom debriefs along with video footage of boat handling and speed drills will take your sailing to the next level.
Boats:College of Charleston’s fleet of 18 FJs and 18 Z420s
Cost:$675 per sailor, $300 for nonsailing adult chaperones payable to College of Charleston Sailing via Marketplace at http://sailing.cofc.edu/.
Housing and Meals:
Participants will stay aboard the legendary WWII aircraft carrier, USS Yorktown, steps away from the C of C Sailing Facility at Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Chaperones are encouraged to stay but it is not necessary.
Transportation:Charleston is 20 minutes from an international airport. Sailors will be pickedup and droppedoff by clinic organizers
Activities:Clinic attendees will have an opportunity to meet special guest speakers including past national champions/CofC Alumni, physical trainers, and Olympians.

Junior Olympic Festival Northwest Youth Championship held at Seattle Yacht Club in Seattle, Washington. This regatta is open to Laser, Radial, C420, 29er, BIC, Optimist, and V15 classes.
The Advanced Team Racing Clinic will cover the fundamental attitude, the overall plan and the fine details of execution required to team race at the highest level. The clinic will include classroom, video, and on-the-water sessions. Sailing will take place in Harvard’s fleet of FJ dinghies. Come as a team of 3 boats or come as a boat. A minimum of 6 boats is required for the clinic to proceed.
