420 /FJ Institutional Mainsail
High School/College/Club Sailing
North Blue Ribbon sails are designed with performance and durability in mind. This main is easy to trim and set up and will handle the demands of high school/college sailing. Constructed out of North Sails exclusive 7.2 oz. NorDac. The Blue Ribbon sails do not comply with the International 420 or Flying Junior Class Rules. Designed by performance sailors for performance-minded sailors, our mainsails have about 150mm more roach and are a bit fuller than standard institutional sails, allowing sailors to learn, play with, and perfect sail trim, rather than just sheeting in as hard as possible.
