18 October 2020, Gunpowder River, MD — The very first i-420 Mid-Atlantic Championship was held on 17-18 October at the new “Chesapeake Experience“, a community sailing venue E/NE of Baltimore on the Gunpowder River. This a fantastic sailing venue! 
Saturday the fleet had to wait a bit, but the forecasted northerly came in around 1130, and four races were run with varied conditions that included some very light stuff along with full trapeze sailing! Sunday the RC actively sought wind, and 2 more races were completed in a quirky southerly. Great fun was had by all, and an i420 training fleet is now born at this venue!!!
