From the Notice of Race: 

The 2026 O’pen Skiff North American Championship and “Un-Regatta” will be held at the Mission Bay Yacht Club, March 20 – 22, 2026. The Organizing Authority for this regatta is Mission Bay Yacht Club in association with the O’pen Skiff Class USA.

Important Event Introduction: The purpose of this event is to run a fun event for youth sailors in a more loosely competitive style, in dynamic youth boats. The Race Committee does keep track of results, and we emphasize having a good time sailing. It is our goal that the sailors improve their skills, make new friends, exhibit first-class sportsmanship, and have a ton of fun. This event will be a combination of “conventional” style race formats with unconventional “Un-Regatta” style courses and events. Capsizes, boat handling challenges, speed, and fun will be required.
