2017 Sunfish South American & Caribbean Championship held at Ponce Yacht & Fishing Club in Puerto Rico. This event will qualify the top 2 nations to compete at the Pan American Games in Lima 2019 in the Sunfish Class event. This is a world qualifier.
Lightning World Championship
The Lightning World Championship held at Salinas Yacht Club in Salinas, Ecuador. Skippers must qualify for this regatta. The USA Qualifier will be the 2016 North American Championship that will take place at the Rochester YC, Rochester, NY on August 13-19, 2016.
