*The Open Orange Bowl Regatta is NOT the Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta– it is a separate event run on the same days.
The regatta is open to all boats of the Club 420, Laser Standard, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7 and Optimist classes and sailors who are 18 years of age or younger.

Oakcliff Continues training and development for the 2024 Olmypic mixed double-handed offshore event this year with our offshore and short-handed offshore acorn programs that will race the Mixed Double Handed Melges 24, and Turbo’d Farr 40 (Fully crewed) divisions. New this year is a mixed double-handed ORC division for racers who want to bring their own boats to see how they stack up! Oakcliff‘s season-opening regatta is a qualifier for the US Match Race Championship (Grade 3) that starts with a one-day clinic on Friday, April 17, Coached by Oakcliff graduate, Chris Kennedy. Racing will be Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19.
The USYMRC is US Sailing’s national youth match racing championship, open to sailors who will turn 16 but not 21 in the year of the event. Skippers are invited based on applications. Requests for invitations can be found on the USYMRC website, and requests received by April 1 each year will receive preference over later requests.
